Ingredients

For the dough:

5 dl of dairy-free milk

50 g of yeast

2 tsp cardamom

175 g dairy-free butter

12-15 dl flour

1 dl sugar

For the filling:

220g of dairy free butter

2 tbs cinnamon

1 dl sugar

Before baking the buns:

Pearl sugar

dairy-free milk 

How to make cinnamon buns:

  • Preheat the oven to 225 degrees C

  • Crumble the yeast in a bowl

  • Heat the milk to 37 degrees

  • Pour the milk over the yeast and mix until the yeast has dissolved.

  • Then add butter, cardamom, sugar and mix

  • When mixed add flour and let the dough knead for 10- 15 minutes and let it raise for 45 minutes

  • Meanwhile mix butter, sugar and cinnamon

  • Roll the dough to a rectangle

  • Spread out the butter mix and fold the dough over

  • Divide the dough into 1 cm strips

  • Roll the strip into a swirl and place it on a baking tray and let it raise for 45 minutes

  • Brush the dough with milk and add pearl sugar

  • Bake in the ovan for about 8 minutes.
