Ingredients
For the dough:
170g dairy free butter
1 1/2 dl sugar
3 packages of saffron
12-14 dl of flour
1/2 tsp salt
5 dl oat milk
50 g yeast
For the filling:
220g dairy free butter
1 1/2 dl sugar
4 tsp vanilla sugar
How to make saffron buns:
Preheat the ovan to 225 degrees C
Crumble the yeast in a bowl
Melt the butter
Heat the milk to 37 degrees
Then add the saffron
Pour the milk mixture over the yeast
Then add sugar, salt and flour and knead the dough for 10-15 min
Let it rise for 45 min
Meanwhile mix butter, sugar and vanilla sugar.
Roll out the dough to a rectangle
Spread out the butter mix and fold the dough over
Roll the dough in to swirls and place it on a baking tray and let it raise for 30 min.
Brush gently with non-dairy milk and add pearl sugar.
Bake in the oven for 8 minutes
